The celebration of Holi

Hey readers I wrote this article on the festival of Holi. In this blog I wrote about Holi it's celebration, it's preparation, it's worship and many other things about Holi festival.

India is the land of Festivals. Festivals in India comes day by day, on the month of Falgun on the day of purnima we celebrate Holi. It is an important festival of India according to Indian culture. Holi is the festival of Joy and Happiness.

We have a historic reason to celebrate Holi. Before thousands of years ago there was  Hiranyakashyapu named a king who announced that he was God. And he had no faith in real God. And he announced that whoever not considers him to be God will be killed. But his own son Prahalad was a great devotee of Shri Hari Vishnu.

So Hiranyakashyapu wanted to kill his own son so he called his sister, her sister name was Holika. And Holika had powers that she had not burnt by fire.
So Hiranyakashyapu said to his sister that she had been sat on fire with Prahalad. But when Holika sat on fire with Prahalad then her powers had not protect her and she burnt by fire and Prahalad got protected from fire. This is the reason of celebrating Holi Every year.
Celebrating Holi every year represents the victory of good over evil. So on every year's purnima of Falgun month we celebrates Holi.

On the evening of Falgun purnima we burns Holika as the sign of victory of good over evil. And on the next morning we plays Holi with colours. We go to meet our friends and relatives and we gives good wishings to them. And we play holi with them.

How I plays Holi:- Before Falgun purnima we makes planning to make Holika and on the evening of Falgun Purnima me burnt Holika made from cow dung cakes (gobar ke upley) elders of our colony burn Holika and all members of our colony taking pradakshina of burning Holika and celebrates this as victory of good over evil. All the people who meet there we colour them and we all takes blessings from our elders.
And on next day from early in the all the children meet together and start filling balloons with coloured water and after some time all people of colony meet together and colour to each other on this day we uses water and balloons also. All children are played with water weapons, water balloons etc.

In this way we celebrates Holi with full of happiness and joy.

Patriotism

PATRIOTISM  When we hears the word Patriotism we started thinking about sacrifices which were did for the country and we started thinking about our soldiers and freedom fighters they are real patriot. But only sacrifice is not the proper meaning of  Patriotism.   In common words, Patriotism means sacrifice, love, devotion and respect to our country and its culture and its people.  A person's Patriotism can be seen in his/her daily life like his respect for his/her language, his/her national Anthem or National flag.   We had heared many stories of sacrifices (patriotism) like about Rani laxmi bai,Subhash chandra bose, Lala lajapat rai, Maharana pratap, Shivaji maharaj, Bal gangadhar Tilak, Sardar Udam Singh, Bhagat Singh and many more stories.  We also become real patriot by loving our country and its culture, by giving respect to our National flag and National Anthem, by giving respect to our mother tounge,by loving all the citizens
